During these days, you will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the fundamentals of watercolor painting under the guidance of an experienced tutor. You will develop your artistic skills, receive personalized support and display your creations in an exhibition for all participants.
All this against the backdrop of the incomparable landscape of Comporta!
Retreat for Beginners
5-night watercolor painting retreat, thought and designed

An enriching art retreat, where creativity meets relaxation in the serene setting of Comporta. The days begin with a generous breakfast, followed by painting sessions. Lunches are at AlmaLusa Café, and afternoons offer free time to explore your artistic skills or free time to discover the picturesque surroundings. In the evening, enjoy delicious dinners and peaceful moments in this serene area. On the last day, take part in a special cocktail and an art exhibition.
PROGRAMME
Who is Dora Keogh?
She studied with renowned artists such as Roger Dellar, Grahame Booth, and Chinkok Tan, and is recognised as a skilled instructor. Since 1999, she has exhibited her works annually. Her pieces are displayed in various locations, including Ireland, San Diego, Dallas, Charleston, Nova Scotia, and Toronto. Some of her works are on display at WWF in Toronto and Brandes International.
Her workshop "Absolute Beginners" has inspired many to explore painting, guiding them from initial curiosity and apprehension to confidence and self-satisfaction.
