Comporta
Only 1h30 away from Lisbon and the main Portuguese airport, Comporta is the ideal destination for
those who want to discover an off the beaten path location on the Alentejo coast.
Unlike any other place in Portugal, it is also an oasis also worth discovering by those who
choose to spend their holidays in the country. Pine trees, rice fields, river, sea, white sand
beaches and an abundance of wildlife will make you feel like you are spending your holiday
in the most unique destination.
AlmaLusa Comporta
AlmaLusa is conveniently located in the heart of the village of Comporta. Local stores,
coffee shops and restaurants are easily accessible on foot and by bike. Other
establishments and services – such as the medical centre and bank – are also a short
distance away. The nearest beach is only a 15-minute walk from the hotel - which means
you will not need your own vehicle during your stay with us.
If you wish to travel longer distances, whether to discover other beaches or visit local attractions,
our reception can assist with shuttles, car rentals and taxi bookings.

How to get to AlmaLusa Comporta?
For your trip to AlmaLusa Comporta, we suggest traveling by car, train or bus.
If you travel by car in the North-South direction, you will have two options:
Highway | You can cross the Vasco da Gama Bridge, take the A12 and A2, take exit 8,
to Alcácer do Sal, and take the IC1 and N253 to Rua Pedro Nunes – where you will find the AlmaLusa Comporta.
Panoramic | If you prefer to enjoy the views, we recommend a combination of car and ferry. You will have to cross the 25 de Abril Bridge or the Vasco da Gama Bridge - over the Tagus River - and take the A2 Sul. You should take exit 5 and follow the A12 towards Setúbal. You will find directions to the terminal where ferries depart for Troia. Crossing the Sado river, take some time to relax and enjoy the views. Arriving in Troia, drive for around 13km on the N253-1 (this will take around 15 minutes) to AlmaLusa Comporta.
Public transport from Lisbon and Ferry
We advise you to use public transport to Setúbal (which will vary depending on your point of departure) and to take a ferry or catamaran to Troia. Once in Troia, it might not be easy to find a taxi or take a bus. For your convenience, we recommend that you book your taxi service in advance with our Front Desk team, to ensure a smooth and hassle-free transfer experience.
Ferry and catamaran timetables are available at www.atlanticferries.pt
Train
You also have the option to travel by train to Alcácer do Sal or Grândola. In both destinations, you will have more options available and it will be easier to take a taxi. However, we recommend that you plan your trip in advance and contact us to schedule a taxi service.
Transfer
You also have the option of booking a private transfer with us from any region in the country. Contact us for more information.
