Activities

This package encompasses three exciting activities, ranging from a leisurely boat trip for flamingo watching to an exploration of the diverse species residing in the magnificent Sado Estuary, and culminating in a picturesque journey up the Sado River to Alcácer do Sal. Be sure not to overlook the delightful storks, whose nests adorn the village and its scenic surroundings.

Flamingo watching

Embark on a boat trip through the picturesque heart of the Sado Estuary for a captivating flamingo-watching adventure. While on this excursion, you might also catch sight of other species that call the Sado Estuary home.
This tour runs from October to March, departing from Troia and lasting approximately 3 hours.
If you need transportation to Troia, we advise making a reservation in advance. The round-trip fare is estimated to be approximately 77€ (pending confirmation and subject to modifications).

Tour to the Sado Estuary

During this experience, you will be able to have direct contact with the history of the region, such as salt production and rice fields, as well as going up the river in search of various species, such as colonies of flamingos, herons, cormorants, among many others.

If you need a transfer to Troia, we recommend that you book in advance. The round trip price should be around €77 (subject to confirmation and may change).

From the Sado River to Alcácer do Sal

During the trip, it is possible to observe the beauty of the south channel, Cavalo Island and the stilt pier of the Phoenician trading post. Along the route you can see the banks of rice fields and salt marshes, where birds such as herons and flamingos are regularly seen.

Once in Alcácer, there will be a 30-minute stop to contemplate the city.

Warranty Policy
Payment of the total amount is made at the time of booking. The hotel reserves the right to refuse any reservation that does not meet these requirements.
